A Fall/Winter piece I made a while ago. In the picture the stones are kinda yellowish but they are really white as snow inreality. Goes real fine with black and all yellow-brown-beigeish colours.

The backside of a brooch that my father (made) and gave to my mother. The inscription has gotten to my head. It says "doron" in greek which means gift... Why would he write that? It's quite obvious that it is a gift..(right?).. on other pieces he gave her there are engravings too, most of whom make Do make (some kind) of sense... =P

Part of my vision board for spring, there is so much, this is just a tiny fraction of it. And Im seriously troubled I don't know what track or "line" to follow... This below is the more womanly-romantic-art nouveauish track... Just thinking about, it still not sure... well well enjoy these pics till the next update!

"I mean, how many young women get a set of rubies just for doing something wholesome like swimming laps? Or win a diamond ring at Ping-Pong with their husband...? Well, I did, and for all of these memories and the people in my life I feel blessed," -Elizabeth Taylor
This woman has worn and owned some of the worlds most expensive jewels, are we jealous? No no... No, really NO.

Freshly mined rubies
A miner shows of his latest find,
all finds are kept close at hand.
The finest hue of rubies go under the name of pigeon blood.
One of my absolute favourite gems is the ruby with its red fiery (or pinkish) colour. And did you know that transparent, flawless rubies exceed all other gems in value? Even diamonds, execpt so called fancy diamonds. The reason? Transparent rubies of larger sizes are rarer than diamonds.
The poor ruby must be transparent to posses gem value other rubies like opaque or semi-opaque have very little value compared to other gems.

I have wanted to show you this picture for so long, like four months but I haven't come of my feet to post it till now. So here you go a bowl made of gold and rubies (!!!!) ...yum ...yum.. who would not wanna lay their hands on that!? It's so beautiful, goregeous, and many other adoring words would discribe it well however what would the use of such a thing be? The craftsman who made it was obviously trés skillfull and just out of respect I wouldn't dare to even touch it if it was in my posession (or within my reach;)
