disc earrings

For some years one of my cousins worked for my father, during his time in my fathers studio he designed a few pieces, amongst them these earrings. I wore them everyday almost for a year... So simple yet beautiful. To me this design is not very greek..it has more of a nordic  touch.. Tune in tomorrow, to hear more about the difference between nordic and mediterranean designs..

new in #1.. no inspiration..

I bought these Danielle Scutt (for Topshop) earrings a while back. I was quite disappointed actually.. still they're pretty cool. If you're going for faux bijou, go for statement pieces.

Chinese Haute Couture  designer Guo Pei made this creation last year.. I think.. Love love love it, even though  it is a bit kitsch.. it's just so impressive and inspiring with all those details. Wowza.
