look what i found!

Yes that is a brooch though you'd probably never guess that. Made it some years ago when I was bored, must have been thirtteen and my father had kicked me out of the workshop for no apparent reason other than that I was persisten in learning to handle some machine which he thought inappropriate. So I ended up outside with some silver wire,  a cheap brooch platform  and some crystals my mum had bought in Prague for me. Remebering my irritation and anger at the time I also recollect my suprise when I actually managed to produce  something wearable...okay that is debatable, but you know what I mean...

Four brooches and one pair of earrings.

I have started to clean out my jewellery boxes, I own too much jewellery that I never wear, especially  faux bijiou like these above that I purchased a coulpe of years ago when I was like twelve... Or well, the earrings was a brithday gift from a classmate actually. Holy schizzel I have such a separation anxiety that it's ridiculous =P No matter.. everything is going to some secondhand store ... (!!!)...

weird engraving..

The backside of a brooch that my father (made) and gave to my mother. The inscription has gotten to my head. It says "doron" in greek which means gift... Why would he write that? It's quite obvious that it is a gift..(right?).. on other pieces he gave her there are engravings too, most of whom make Do make (some kind) of  sense... =P

blake of gossip girl..

Blake Lively the other day at the Scream awards in Los Angeles. She is wearing Lavin head-to-toe. And the reason for posting these pics are the brooch she has strapped on the harness. It actually belongs to the dress, the outfit is right of the runway! Zircone diamonds and some sapphires. Lovely eventhough it is sorta strange to have an insect play the statement of a dress...
